Dual Grundfos Pump Chamber Service – Stirlingshire

Recently, we carried out a pump chamber service on a dual sewage pumping station in Stirlingshire for an existing customer. Regular servicing keeps pumping stations reliable and helps prevent unexpected failures, nuisance alarms, and costly emergency call-outs.

System Overview

• Pumps: 2x Grundfos submersible pumps (duty/assist)
• Control Panel: Triton
• Floats: Multiple level floats cleaned and tested
• Alarm: High level alarm tested and confirmed operational

Service Work Completed

• Chamber Cleaning: Full chamber pressure washed and cleaned
• Float Switches: Removed/cleaned and function tested
• Pump Checks: Pumps inspected – no blockages, no debris build-up
• Alarm Test: High level alarm tested – working correctly
• Operational Test: Pumps run-tested and duty changeover confirmed

Electrical Readings

• Supply Voltage: 232V
• Pump 1 Current: 4.9 amps
• Pump 2 Current: 5.1 amps

Both pumps operated as expected during the service and the system is now cleaned, tested, and ready for continued operation.
