BA BioDisc Service – Ayrshire

Recently, we carried out a routine service on a Klargester BA BioDisc at a domestic property in Ayrshire. This was a new customer seeking reassurance that their sewage treatment plant was operating correctly.

Service Work Completed

• Full mechanical inspection
• Electrical testing and load checks
• All alarms tested and confirmed operational
• Start capacitor replaced
• Rotor packs inspected – both in good condition
• Drive end and non-drive end bearings inspected – worn but not seized

The bearings are currently operational but showing wear. Ongoing routine servicing will allow proactive replacement before failure occurs, preventing unexpected breakdowns and costly repairs.
