While the system appeared to be running, airflow within the aeration tank was beginning to drop due to partially blocked diffusers.

Issues Identified

• Restricted airflow caused by diffuser blockages

• All diffusers individually scoured and cleared
• Air filter replaced
• Air distribution restored across tank
• Electrical connections checked and tightened
• Loss of pressure alarm tested and confirmed working

Following servicing, the system is now operating correctly with:

• Even air distribution across the tank
• Blower running within specification
• Sludge levels within normal operating range (150mm)
• No faults or alarms present

Why Servicing Matters

This system was still running, but performance had already started to drop.
