BioTec P12 Service – Dolphinton, South Lanarkshire

BioTec P12 service Dolphinton carried out today for an existing customer as part of their annual maintenance contract. The plant is a Kingspan/Klargester BioTec P12 with an EL-60 air blower, green Darcy Kingspan control panel and gravity outlet. Regular servicing ensures continued compliance with SEPA discharge standards and extends system life.

• Darcy Kingspan control panel: All indicators, alarms, and circuits tested. Loss-of-power and loss-of-pressure alarms proved operational.
• EL-60 blower: Checked and running within spec. Air filter replaced to maintain flow and efficiency.
• Electrical readings: 0.32 A at 252 V – steady and efficient operation confirmed.
• Beacon cable repair: Cable severed during grass cutting; new section installed, joint sealed, and operation verified.
• Tank assessment: Sludge and crust readings low – no emptying required this year, saving unnecessary tankering cost.

The plant was left operating quietly and efficiently with stable air pressure, correct electrical loading, and balanced treatment conditions.

🔬 System observations

All air delivery lines were clear, with even distribution across chambers. The Darcy panel and beacon now provide full fault indication following cable repair. The Enkamat filter was cleaned, and the spray cone unblocked to restore proper aeration. Routine airflow maintenance prevents blower strain and ensures balanced biological treatment.
